The stalwart director D Rajendra Babu final rites were conducted at 6 in the evening at Chamrajpet crematorium. The 62 years director of many super hit films D Rajendra Babu wife Sumithra came in the afternoon from Hyderabad. She was in uncontrollable emotions after looking at the body of Babu.

At Chamrajpet crematorium the final rites were conducted by Srisha who is D Babu’s brother son. At the apartment in Bhoopasandra where D Rajendra Babu was living the Kannada cinema industry personalities visited to pay last respect.

Upendra, Dwarakish, Shivarajakumar, Puneeth Rajakumar, Ganesh, Rockline Venkatesh, S Narayan, Hema Chaudhary, Doddanna, SV Rajendra Singh babu, Ajay Kumar, Kodlu Ramakrishna, Nanjunde Gowda, Ramu, Malashri, PRO Venkatesh, Gurukiran, Srinagara Kitty, Preetham Gubbi, Ramachandra, Dr Jayamala offered floral tributes to director D Babu.

D Babu two daughters Uma and Nakshatra were next to the body that was kept in glass encounter.

D Rajendra Babu was supposed to sign a film for Ramesh Kashyap production ‘Maha Kali’ with Malashri in the lead role. He has almost finished ‘Kuchiku Kuchiku’ for his daughter Nakshatra as heroine. ‘Aryan’ is the biggest venture left in the middle of shooting.
